Dinner with a Twist
The night before the wedding is traditionally reserved for a rehearsal dinner. Most often it is held at a noisy restaurant, where your guests only really get to converse with the few people seated close by. Paulding & Company offers a unique and fun alternative that allows your wedding party members to really get to know each other. This is a dinner party — with a twist!
We welcome you to our spacious teaching and catering kitchen with a light hors d’oeuvres buffet and a glass of wine*. Then, along with our experienced chef-teachers, the group dons aprons and cooks the complete dinner together. You can choose from our stellar selection of menus, or we’ll custom design one to fit your group’s tastes.
Every menu is seasonal, taking advantage of the bounty of organic foods available in the area, and carefully crafted with recipes that are accessible no matter what your guests’ skill level. Gentle instruction is given, including technique demonstrations, so that everyone is comfortable with the tasks at hand. You can plan the pairings, so that specific guests work together, or simply allow your guests to choose which dish they prepare.
*We ask that you supply your own wine; however we’ll be happy to suggest wine and food pairings!
