There are so many wonderful flavors and
dishes from Calabria, it is often hard to
decide which to present next. In a Taste of
Calabria, we will prepare some of my
favorite dishes. After taking the edge off
your appetite with a simple and delicious
bruschetta antipasto, you will learn to make
gnocchi from scratch. You will get to taste
the wonderful red sweet Italian peppers
that we dry during the summer months,
here combined with fresh rabbit and other
ingredients to create a wonderful sauce.
Our meal will be complete with a light and
feathery walnut cake served with a sauce
flavored with Nocino, a walnut liqueur I
brought back from Calabria.
